Participate in the craftsmanship competition at Copenhagen Sakura Festival

On the 20th-21st April, Copenhagen Sakura Festival will take place at Langelinie once again. It's a celebration of Japanese culture, so of couse we have to celebrate popular culture and cosplay as well! In collaboration with Copenhagen Sakura Festival, we have organised a craftsmanship competition which will take place on the 20th April at 14:19-14:40, where the contestants will showcase their amazing cosplays that they have worked on. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place among the contestants.

To participate in the competition, all you have to do is download and fill out this form (in Danish) and send it to cosplay@j-popcon.dk. You also need to attach a character photo in as good a resolution as possible. Other photos of the character, your progress, or other details are also welcome.

The rules for the competition are as follows:

• You have to have turned 15 by the 20th April.
• You can participate with a cosplay that you have used in a previous competition, but you cannot have won with said cosplay.
• The cosplay has to have been made by yourself. Minor elements of the cosplay can be bought, but remember to notify us about it when you sign up as well as at the judging table for credit to be given to the right people.
• Signing up for the competition is first come, first serve.
• The deadline for applying is the 15th April 2024.
