J-popcon is proud to announce its participation in yet another international cosplay competition. Eurocosplay will take place on the 30th of October in London as a European version of World Cosplay Summit. Eurocosplay is the European Championship in Cosplay and unlike World Cosplay Summit, will allow only one cosplayer per act. The Eurocosplay Crew chose this format to better focus on the individual cosplayer’s skills in creating their cosplay costume.
J-popcon’s participates in Eurocosplay along with national events from Belgium, The Czech Republic, England, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland, and we will of course still be a part of World Cosplay Summit. We are happy to provide yet another opportunity for our cosplayers to participate on the highest international level.
Eurocosplay is a part of the London MCM Expo — an event that cooperates with the English media to spread anime and manga. The 2009 London MCM Expo had more than 36.000 attendees.
