Would you like to learn how a traditional tea ceremony takes place in Japan? Now you have the opportunity to become a member of Nishibashi Bunka Koukous tea club and learn first hand how it is done! We have invited the tea group Byakudan no kai to create a Tea Ceremony from 19-21 pm on Friday during J-Popcon.
You have the opportunity to be a part of the tea club and learn how to whip and serve Japanese tea and cake in the traditional way. We are looking for 5 girls who want to try out the old discipline and would like to try serve the guests at the tea ceremony.
We have the number of girls we needed and the sign up is now closed.
To be part of this, it is necessary that you are a member of the Association J-Popkai on the day of the event. That is, you must have either a valid trial membership (1-day bracelet) or full membership (3-day wristband). It is also necessary that you can be at J-Popcon already at 15 PM when Byakudan no kai arrives, as the classes will take place before J-Popcon opens its doors. Please bring your own kimono, however if you do not have one, we have a couple of kimonos that can be borrowed, but only in small sizes.
