During Spring, our Danish cosplay team, consisting of the two lovely girls, Sabine and Lea, Travelled to China In order to participate in the newly created international cosplay competition during the
China International Cartoon & Animation Festival (CICAF). Being the first European cosplay representatives ever, the Danish team was excited but also a bit nervous when they travelled to Asia in order to showcase their cosplay during a festival which housed more than 2.8 million visitors.
However, it quickly became apparent that there was no need to be nervous, and the Danish team gave it their all when they performed an emotional rendition of the anime Spirited Away on stage, even going as far as winning the competition, and thus making Danish cosplay something completely unique to the many thousands of Chinese guests present.
