Make a drawing for Club Nippon and win two cinema tickets

Feb. 20, 2013

Club Nippon, part of the Japanese Embassy to Denmark, hosts a competition for the best manga drawings. Five winners will be selected who will each receive two tickets for Goro Miyazaki's movie "From Up On Poppy Hill", which premieres in Danish cinemas shortly after J-Popcon 2013.

Below you can find their description of the competition.

We are giving away free tickets to the coming Goro Miyazaki film “From Up on Poppy Hill” (Kokuriko-zaka kara). 2 tickets will be given to the 5 best manga illustrations/drawings sent to the embassy (att. Cultural Section) by 15th March 16.00.

Any kind of manga or anime related theme is allowed, whether portraying existing characters (or landscapes… or robots…or…) or your own inventions.

The format should be max. A3 size. Please enclose your name, age, phone nr. and e-mail. The winners will be announced on the embassy homepage and Club Nippon newsletter.

The tickets can be used on any day from 25th March until the movie stops screening (which varies from theatre to theatre depending on sales).

Sending /delivering to the embassy is at the participants own expense. The illustrations will not be sent back after the competition, but can be collected at the embassy for 1 month after the competition. After that the remaining illustrations will be discarded.

Any questions about the competition should be directed to Anders W. Christiansen awc@ch.mofa.jp phone 3345 5122.

We look forward to receiving the products of your imagination.
