J-popcon has the honour of contributing with Cosplay events at this year’s Sakura Festival the 17th-18th of April in Copenhagen.
The Sakura Festival is a yearly event in Copenhagen on Langelinie with booths, events and much more.
You can read more about the Sakura Festival and see the schedule for this year here.
J-popcon is doing the following events at the festival:
Saturday afternoon at 15:20 – 15:50 on the little stage we will do a short explanation of what Cosplay is, and it will be followed by showing some Cosplay. If you have a Cosplay outfit and you want an opportunity to dust it off and show it off then you have the chance here. We encourage everyone who has the desire, come to the festival in your Cosplay and share a pleasant afternoon with the rest of us. You don’t have to register to get permission to show off your costume, just make sure to wear it and attend!
Sunday afternoon at 14:40 – 15:10 on the big stage there will be a small Cosplay show, where we will again quickly explain what Cosplay really is, followed by a handful of Cosplay groups performing acts, and at the end we will reveal who J-popcon will send to Eurocosplay 2010 based on J-popcon’s cosplay competition 2009!
We all hope to see you at Sakura Festival 2010!!!
