This year J-Popcon will host a sake tasting party for participants who are 18 years or older. We will taste sake and learn about the differrent ways to do so. We will learn about the production methods and about the different kinds of food that go well with four different kinds of sake. The party will also seek to dispell some of the incorrect preconceptions about sake that exists.
The sake tasting will be managed by the experienced Anne Juel Christensen, who has worked at the Masumi Brewery in Nagano, Japan. Anne specialises in Japanese gastronomy and she has taught the personnel at the Danish Noma and Umami restaurants about sake production and tasting.

The sake tasting party will take an hour and cost DKK 150 for each participant to cover the price of sake. This fee must be paid in the reception at J-Popcon no later than Saturday, March 16th at 14:00. We have a very limited number of seats, so sign up immediately, if you want to participate.
NB: You must be 18 years or older before Saturday, March 16th to participate in this event and you must bring valid picture ID (driver's licence or passport) to show, both in the reception when you pay for the event, and in the door to the event.
